pezIt appears that Finance has enough time to process my seasonal ticket loan to start taking money out from my salary, but not enough time to actually GIVE ME THE BLOODY CHEQUE TO BUY THE TICKET.
If I don't get the cheque next week, someone is going to get hurt.
