Pastedeing
Nov. 26th, 2007 10:30 pmHuuuuuuuuh.
Watched the myu rip because couldn't be bothered to wait for the DVD, and noticed something interesting.
If this was the performace Unni and I saw which had signs out saying "DVD filming today", then there definitely was some pastede-ing going on. When Sanada lost to Echizen in S1, Kane-chan screwed up his line. But it didn't happen in the video. >_>
Also, I am quite sure it was supposed to be Rikkai gathering around in a circle, and then Sanada says his lines (or screws it up, as the case was), and then they go YOSH! But in this performance, Sanada says his lines first, and then they gather around in a circle and go YOSH.
Huuuuuuuuuuh. >_>
Disappointingly, the camera crew must have realised how ridiculous the Fuurinkazan dance was, and therefore did their best to avoid showing the dance by focusing the camera on Kane-chan whenever there were silly posings and hipswings by the rest of Rikkai. I therefore hope the DVD will have a "full stage" version so that I can "enjoy" that dance again...

Date: 2007-11-27 07:48 am (UTC):/ I was afraid of that. Now fandom will never believe us, the few of us who witnessed the FuuRinKaZan crack in person. *woe*
I hope the extra disc is just like the First Service one, in that case, with the full stage view and everything...
I nearly fell over laughing at that screencap. Oh Kanesaki, you frighten me sometimes. XD

Date: 2007-11-27 09:03 am (UTC)They've either cut and pasted the performance, or they had the cameras up for the evening performance, too, and that's what we're getting. I noticed the lack of Kanesaki screwup, and the FGKM number has the "wrong" actors jumping into the audience. I had Baba right in front of me and Setomaru nearly decapitating me as he flew by -- both of them were up on the stage on the DVD. >_>;
