*twiddles thumbs* I hope my Second Service DVD arrives soon...

Troika AU is on halt because I don't like some of the bits I've written. But That AU (still needs a name. Oh, we are so brilliant at coming up with names................) is taking shape, for a given value of shape.

Going to Lowestoft tomorrow. Why do I only ever go there when it's cold?

Just heard from [livejournal.com profile] star_in_my_soup that Vampire Knight will be made into an anime! It means some people will actually find out who the heck it was I cosplayed at Expo. XD;

I got sent this last week, you might have seen it before, but I find it quite interesting. No idea about the source, or how true or representative it is, but there you go.

The info is from El País Semanal, the magazine that comes as an extra on the sunday edition of El País (the spanish newspaper).
Is from last year. The Roomies used to buy it, but still don't know who kept the magazines. ^^;;

That was such an interesting feature. On the Japan feature they had images from a market. I was speechless looking how colorful fish are in Japan. *__*

And yes, it's awful how much coca-cola we drink...
Don't ask about our obesity and diabetes rate... ^^;;;

God, the difference between the Italian family and the American family is frightening, comparing how healthy one diet looks and how (sorry to say) utterly disgusting the other looks, when you pile it up like that.

I remember being in Italy and eating food that was fresh, healthy and just downright gorgeous. I wish more people were aware of how nice fresh stuff can be (I know often it's down to convenience/time) compared to crisps from a packet, and a pizza from a box.

It's so depressing that people spend a dollar and a bit on a few chocolate bars, and that's someone's food budget for the week. Man. *boggles*

Also, whoah, prices in Japan are scary. o.O

My own impression of Japanese food it that it's fairly affordable. But looking at the photo, they had some fruit, which is ridiculously expensive there.
