Going to be early ≠ getting to sleep early, because the Tezmobile likes to run around. She was being particularly destructive last night.

I'm suggesting to Liz that she should pursue a career in bread artisanship...

Am too lazy to complete memes I've been tagged for, sorry. I am also not filling in any Christmas card posts, because I never remember to send them and therefore don't want to request any.

Reading the most recent [livejournal.com profile] fryblog reminded me how I dislike the word "presently". Not that I have hatred for it, but I don't like to use it and twitch when people use it. It's because the word has two meanings, one being "currently", the other being "soon", which makes a sentence with this word in rather confusing and ambiguous, if you asked me. Why not use another word, the meaning will be much clearer.

Also, people should learn the difference between "in a moment" and "momentarily", as well as "instantly", "instantaneously" and "in an instant".

I'll write about more intelligent things, one day...

Tezmobile seems to be exhausted after her late-night activity (what the hell was she doing? I kept hearing noises, but...) and is passed out in a corner. I should run around and make lots of noise at her. >(

...

Except that would involve movement.

She tried to break the record of the number of things knocked over in a given time.

You could always throw things at her, wake her up and coax her to come to you...

I'm afraid of adding [livejournal.com profile] fryblog but you're tempting me. As much as I love the man, I fear that one more essay about gadgets might render my brain useless.

What is the difference between 'in a moment' and 'momentarily'? I know there is one, and try to avoid saying momentarily XD; When people say "I'll be with you momentarily", is that wrong?
