I have layout wrath. Whenever there's a link in the subject, the text's white (unless the cursor's hovering on it) and it shouldn't be white because the background's white. But I can't find which part of my code is making it white. Grrrrrrrr.

Oh and the bullet point doesn't appear when I use <ul>!

TV's on and I can't concentrate.

[edit] Hot Fuzz is a great film. (except they could remove the ending)

Now I go think about what to put in my profile, and add relevant credits for my layout...

Huh. You mean when you link to someone's lj name in your subject, the text is white?

If we're using the same template, which I think we are, what do you currently have down for this bit of coding:

a, a:link, a:visited, a:active {
color: #FF3300;
text-decoration: none;
}

If you're not having the problem in your entries, just your links, what do you have down for this bit of coding:

.subject {
color: #80CCFF;
font-weight: normal;
background-color: transparent;
border: none;
font-family: script, arial, sans-serif;
font-size: 14pt;
letter-spacing: 1px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}

?

It's the subject. If I link to someone's LJ name there, it's fine. But if I put in an ordinary link there, the text becomes white (and grey while a:hover). I can't find where to change it. None of my code that's link related is defined as white, so I dunno why....

(I'll make an example post. ♥)
