Average student hall room door? Probably not - these are like, safety doors with locks and tend to be veeeeeery heavy, they'd be very hard for anyone to kick in.

My student hall room door was easy to get into by force, but it was an old room -- some of our newer ones would have been really, really tricky. That said, most doors are supposed to be easy to kick through, as long as you know how and where to apply force (according to this book I have about, erm, how to hot-wire vehicles, escape sharks and survive in the desert. Not sure why I have this book...)
