Okay, theatrical/stage makeup. I want a sort of foundation/skin paint to use on face, arms & legs that's not too difficult to use, doesn't cost overly much, which will make the skin darker. Not Jackal!Brazillian!dark, but the sort of stuff they must have used on Yuki Jutta to make him dark on stage. (if required I can provide screencaps)

What is it called, where can I find it, and how difficult is it to use?

Self-tan? Would that do it?

I don't have any specific detail products for you, unfortunately, but I can only recommend Screenface, a supplier for theatrical/special fx makeup (and glitter! don't forget the glitter!) All of the body paint they sell has always been absolutely amazing (and just looking at the website makes me want to go there again, damnit)

And! They have a branch in Covent Garden (and one in Notting Hill I think), so you could always go and check it out and take me with you :D

We use Max Factor Pan Stick for the theatre, which comes in a range of shades and doesn't break the bank, either. Most decent sized Boots or Superdrugs carry it. :)

It's for Syl, not me, and I'm not sure if she wants to use self-tan... XD:

The best foundation to use would be Make Up Forever's Face & Body foundation, any skin type can wear this, it's very sheer it's water and sweat resistant and will withstand stage lighting.

Prior to foundation to make the hold last, you can apply a corrective makeup base in #4, which will warm the skintone of fair-color people so that you don't have to soak them in foundation. It's not mandatory though.

As a finishing touch, I would shape the face with a compact modeler, creating zones of contrast of light and dark specially if you're turning a girl into a guy, to make her features seem more angular and less round. You can also apply the darker color in the eye-lid and undereye area to make it look more rough.

These are products I have used for stuff on stage.

Pan stick foundation is usually very heavy, quite unnatural and will leave a unconfortable feeling. If you want more tips get me some pictures.

I have a an artists discount for it, so if the price in pounds is more than euros, I have 20% off the store price and I can send it to you.

Ooooh~ let's go out!!!! :D

btw I was also thinking, it might be difficult to get purple material that matches what's used for my Higa outfit in such a short time, so it might be easier for you to do a school-uniform version of Kite. If you have regular black trousers, I could get you a short-sleeved shirt, and sew the Higa logo on the chest. Then put the hair and glasses on you (still need to get those, but yeah). How does that sound?

!!!!! Thanks for all the info! ♥ I'm not sure where I can find Makeup Forever here (I do know the shops in HK, though) so I'll go look up more info first. The official website with the links you gave seems to be a bit screwy atm but hopefully I'll get to see it later on. Might be going with [livejournal.com profile] dystopiarcadia this weekend to check out that other shop she mentioned, too. I guess it's a test to see what works best on really very pale skin and lasts long without rubbing off...

I acutally thought about asking you first, but don't want to make you feel like I jump on you just for makeup advice etc. ^^"

Here's the address for Make Up Forever in London:

6 Goldhawk mews, London W12 8PA

Phone - 020 8740 6788

If you want the name of the products to browse on the website:

Face & Body Foundation (Under Foundation)
Corrective Make Up Base #4 (Under Concealers)
Compact Modeler

Btw, ask me anytime you want, I love talking about it, it gives me a good chance to hear myself type, and besides, everyone else asks these kind of questions, I'm always happy to lend a hand. If I were there, I'd volunteer to do the makeup myself, I love cosplay makeup.
