FF12 so far
The camera system is screwing with me. It works completely in the opposite way to what I think is logical (push stick left, camera turns right). There is no option in config to change it. *sigh* Still feeling around with the controls and the various systems, and spent a lot of time in the town area. Am only just in the palace, after 2 hours of playing (more, if you count the pauses etc). Still no idea what "gambit" is. The Rough Tomato amused me, though, and "ROUGE TOMATO VANQUISHED" was just complete crack. I NEED MORE GIL AND MORE LP.

I generally don't look at walkthroughs to play a FF game the first time, but sesame_seed told me to watch out for one of the weapons and find out what I must not do if I want to get the weapon later, so I did. 8D Wow, that's pretty evil of them to set things that way.

Laughed very hard when one of the guys introduced himself as Vain Vayne. The voice they've chosen (English version) doesn't suit him at all. And the girl - Penelop? - has a very unsuitable voice, too. Vaan has the same VA as Tidus which is fine by me. XD I might put on the Japanese one I've *cough*acquired*cough* to check out the Japanese voices later on.

Friday tomorrow. It means after work, I can sit in front of telly and game to oblivion! Sort of what I used to do in Lineage 2. XD (Ah, I miss L2. My dancing margarine! (Wait, isn't that Kanesaki?))

My hair is more-or-less Rin's length! I'm tempted to bleach it again now because the root's showing, but since I intend to go as Rin for a day at London Expo and that's end of May, maybe I should wait longer. Can't keep bleaching my hair like that. (And when that's over, I might dye to dark...)

I still think dystopiarcadia should be Kite! Or Chinen because you're so so tall. There's nothing wig and makeup cannot do! XD

*imagines running around with pieces of half-cooked beef on the forehead*

Oh, I think I know what to (try and) make for dinner today! >D Let's hope I won't burn anything.

I dunno, most people I could cosplay have outfits which would require vast amounts of work and time isn't something I have a great deal of until, uh, two days before that. >_> Ideas for any relatively simple ones?

I did not know about the weapon thing until much later. Vaan, the little treasure h0r that his is, just had to "!" about it. Also, I found that if you try to imagine the camera control as positioning for the back of the head I find it works easier.

Gambits are something that are unlocked as you play, to make playing easier. For instance, one of my gambits looks like: Foe: Flying - Drain. That way if I don't have a bow I can drain their HP from them to gain back what they're taking from me.

For more LP, keep your eye out for Golden Amulets. They're costly, but they double your LP for the character wearing it. Embroidered Tippets will get you more EXP.

I see...... Vaan seems always quite poor (never has more than 2500 gil before I spend it on stuff). Why do I still need to worry about money even when gaming? T_T

Gambits are just lists of instructions to your characters to do certain things in certain orders and circumstances, but you can't use them until a little later in the game.
