1. Byakuya doesn't have a best friend to speak of. The person in Soul Society he gets on the best with is Ukitake, but he hates all the people around Ukitake. When he makes a visit, they talk about thing like this new hair conditioner that makes hair really shiny, and they bitch about the other 2 noble families, like who stinks and who's marrying who. Sometimes Byakuya complains that he can't stand those papparazzis anymore. Ukitake tells him that they are really just fangirls.



2. Other than Ukitake, Byakuya really hasn't got good friends. He's got nobody to fanboy with, and nobody to squee with. (awww)



3. Byakuya has mixed feelings about Renji. Renji is a good vice captain but sometimes annoys the shit out of him.



4. When Byakua and Renji went to the real world to capture Rukia, they spent a few days finding her. During those few days, they did a lot of things, such as going to the cinema and the theme park (Byakuya found nothing special about riding tea cups, but Renji flailed a lot). But the activiity they enjoyed the most was being in ladies' changing rooms. Because they were in spirit form with no gigai, those without powers could not see them.



5. Matsuomoto told Renji to help her get some makeup from the real world whilst he was there, and Byakuya went with him with a raised half-eyebrow. That was when Byakuya discovered makeup, and he realised that it was actually possible for him to draw the other halves of his eyebrows in (!)



6. (re: eyebrows, Byakuya will never forgive Urahara for that lesson back in the academy.)



7. During their stay, they also discovered visual kei.



8. Byakuya likes Rukia's drawings. His own drawings are just as bad. He tells her her pictures need more bunnies.



9. He keeps 3 bunnies at home, they're called Dumpling, Won Ton and Pork Bun.



10. Rukia was initially very scared of Byakuya, after she heard from the servants that she looks like his late wife. She wondered a lot about what Byakuya might do to her. He was also freaky, crept up behind people, made no sound when he walked, and spoke in a r e a l l y - s l o w - w a y which Rukia found really creepy. And she looks like his late wife. She looks like his late wife.



11. After Rukia joined the family, Byakuya took her out to eat very often. He said this is because she looked malnourished and this brought disgrace to the family. It was not because he liked her or she looked like his late wife.



12. Byakuya also took her out to shop a lot, because apparently Rukia's rags own clothes were also bringing disgrace to the family. It was not because he liked her or she looked like his late wife.



13. Byakuya introduced the rest of the Kuchiki family to Rukia, but she can never remember who's who. So when Byakuya mentions a name she can't put a face to, Byakuya has to describe the person so that she can remember. eg. "Who's Uncle blah blah?" "The one with very bad B.O." "Oh, him!"



14. After Rukia realised that Byakuya is a nice person, she tried to please him by cooking things. Byakuya told her such things should be left to the servants. And she should not have destroyed the kitchen. But he ate the food anyway.



15. Once, Byakuya told Rukia that she was to show him Rukongai, because as a noble he ought to know about what was happening outside, so that he could bring forward changes. They went out together under disguise. Rukia told her brother to keep his mouth shut. And smeared dirt on his face to help him blend in. Byakuya was not impressed, or so it seemed.



16. Byakuya also told Rukia to tell him about Rukongai. He asked a lot of specific questions about her life there, but apparently it was all for research, too.



17. Byakuya thinks Ichigo should stop calling him by his first name.



18. Byakuya secretly likes being called by his first name.



19. Ichigo + Renji = a very annoyed Byakuya.



20. Evidently, Byakuya likes pink.



21. Senponsakura is not a very talkative sword, just like her owner. When they "talk", they just sit in rather companionable silence. They kind of like that.



22. Byakuya asked Senponsakura what she thought of Rukia. She withheld judgement. She is very scathing about Zabimaru, though. She says she is very picky about appearances. Byakuya withheld his judgement on that matter.



23. Byakuya really hates Renji's Croydon Facelift.
