It has just occured to me that 2 remotes and 1 nunchak does not a 2-player-game make.

Looks like I'm getting another nunchak tomorrow, then.

[edit] my fire detector has been randomly beeping. Most of the time it's just a very short beep, suddenly, when there is no cooking or anything special going on, and it's infrequent, at random times - could be the middle of the night. I just pushed the battery back to make it shut up, which means I now have no working fire detector... which is no big deal, really - none of the places I've rented here before had fire detectors. But, um. I tried pushing the battery back but it made the alarm beep really loudly... maybe I'll try to do it in the morning when making noise is more natural...

I downloaded the Roddick vs Federer match. Go me!

Generally if a smoke detector is beeping, it means it needs a new battery. If it's not that, um, I don't know, maybe it's possessed.

I was thinking if that's the case, the beeping should be more... regular? right now it's like, it could beep twice now, and then once more, five hours later, and then not beep for a day...

That's how the fire alarm is trying to tell you that you should replace the battery.

I remember the first time that happened in our old house... I thought I was going crazy at first because there were these random noises and I couldn't figure out what was making them. Then I happened to be close enough to the fire alarm when it did it again, so I could actually locate the source of the noise!
