Should totally be asleep but instead, I'm googling my own name. XD It's weird what one can find people saying that my fic quality is not consistent and they disagree with my characterisation, for example, but hey that's nothing new. It's not possible to please everyone, and we all have different interpretations, but I'm working on it, working on it... **, but it's hard to sieve things out from all the search results because most are just my name appearing on people's profile pages because they've friended me on LJ.

But, yeah. I cringe when I reread older stuff (or stuff I've just written, even). Not deleting, though. Somehow, I'm sort of proud of having shit stuff. (???)

I cringe at some of the stuff I've written, but am unable to feel the same... pride. ;) Some stuff has just kind of magically got lost in transit from one journal to another. I am lame. :D

Besides, having shit stuff is a defining characteristic of a non-BNF-writer, I think...

True. And, well, I think everyone has shit stuff, quite honestly. "BNF" or not. (I don't really get the whole "BNF" concept, anyway. I guess because I don't really see it much in PoT fandom right now? Or am blind as a bat and missing all these OMG HUGELY IMPORTANT PEOPLE. :D) It's just a matter of whether they decide to share it anyway or not. I have some shit stuff I posted then thought better of, some shit stuff I've kept around, and a lot of shit stuff which never even made it off my computer HD or indeed out of my notebooks... ;)

I don't know much about BNF as well, but there are people out there who just seems to do a perfect job every time and I go dsjshfsjkafhsklf *too scared to talk to them or comment since my comment isn't worth anything anyway, everyone's already said what I wanted to say*, sort of thing...
