I knew of you long before I knew you. I can't remember if I friended you before or after VLP, though. However, I think that's where I really started to get to know you, and there are so many good memories tangled up there.
My first impression was from afar, but I thought you were an interesting person. I had in my mind that you were maybe a bit more Tez-like than you actually are, and for some time I was just content to watch, not approach. Now, though, I love and adore you and I'm so happy you're my friend. I want to find a way to do Japan at Christmas with you (but I'm starting to think it's impossible T_T). Maybe I'll buy a lottery ticket or two. XD
