The main problem would be that sometimes I work until nine, which means arriving back home around 9.40pm. If you were in Tokyo on those days, I wouldn't expect you back much earlier than that anyway.
My station is Yachiyodai (八千代台) on the Keisei Line (京成), which is the same one that goes from Narita Airport to Tokyo. 47 minutes on the limited express from Yachiyodai is Nippori and Ueno, which link to the Yamanote Line (the central, circular line in Tokyo). I forgot to ask, have you been to Tokyo before?
