I have nothing of Kengo. At all. T____T So I'd have any pics you can give. ♥ When that cast came out, I wasn't much into the myu. I did like his singing though (even though whenever he sang in the myu, his eyes looked like they'd pop out, for some reason >_>""")

Yeah, I understand that Tezuka's 14, but in both the anime and in the manga, he looks 20+ at least. This Tezuka's young and all, but his youth, diminishes Tezuka's dominance and power. To me, Tezuka's like the 14 yr old in a 30 yr old body's body and mindset. The current actor better be as taller than Aiba, because Shirota was easily the tallest (he fit the bill so perfectly, so why Shirota, why must you graduate?!) Sadly, I don't think this Tezuka's hot, Tezuka's supposed to be hot! He's supposed to make you forget he's 14 ... but this guy reminds me he is 14 ... and thus, I can't fangirl over him ... Still, there's always Shirotan <333

I think the rest of the casting was done pretty well, except Ryoma reminds me of a girl ... I guess I'm just disappointed that Tezuka's not in the same league as Shirota (then again, not many are xD *dodges rocks*) but yeah, I feel bad for the kid, just cuz Shirota's a tough act to follow. And is it just me, or does Tezuka look like he's pouting in that scan? xD

Shirotan really is a hard act to follow! This Minami looks like a mini-Ookuchi, actually... but it's hard to say if he'll be a good Tez or not until we see him in action (I didn't fancy Shirota much when I first saw his photos, but am now head over heels for him). He is taller than Aiba, but not as tall as Shirota (T_T). Although, in HyouteiMyu, Tezuka being taller than Inui was very weird... XD;;

The Ryoma is pretty cute! Even though he's only 14, it seems like he's got plenty of acting experience already, so he might be something to look forward to.

He does look like he's pouting! In a way, he is almost like... second-year Tezuka XD; not the ichinen and not the buchou, but in-bewteen~

I'm just trying to imagine a smackdown between Kazuki (that is, if Kazuki comes back as Atobe) and the current Tezuka ... and well ... it's not working xD Shirota and Kazuki were like on the same 'level'? I dunno, in there acting, you can sense the rivalry between two larger than life 14 yr olds. I hope this Tezuka can pull it off too. You're completely right! He does look like second year Tezuka!

Yeah, Ryoma is cute :D Hongo's cuter? bwahahah j/k j/k although I do like Hongo as Ryoma. So I'm looking forward to the new cast in the musicals. I think the rest of the cast looks really good ... Even though I'm not too happy with the Tezuka casting, there's always Aiba ... I'm just gonna have to pretend Shirota's singing there with Aiba. I love the parts when Aiba and Shirota have a duet cuz they're voices are do completely opposite (like that "you are the prince of tennis" song)

Sorry couldn't post this earlier. Actually just came back from st.Thomas hospital because last night my housemate had a really bad tonsil problem and we had to call an ambulance...

Mini-Ookuchi popped into my mind when I saw the 3rd gen Tezuka as well XD Looking on the bright(er) side, it might be the first time they got Kawamura casting right, I love Abe but he's way too thoroughbred, Eiki Kitamura looked like he was already in rehearsals for Kira, and Kotani made me think "special-needs".

BTW, are they trying for a younger fan base this time out to match the Naruto musical?

Awww, I kinda liked all the Taka-san actors. More than I liked anime or manga Taka-san, anyway XD

I have absolutely no idea~ Minami is supposed to be 20 going on 21, but he does loke 14 in the cast pic...
