Here are some exercises recommended for strenghtening after back injury. Most of these are warmups and strengthening that we did in pilates. I know space is probably a premium in your new place, but a swiss ball is a great exercise aid and it eases the burden on your back when doing some exercises, letting you strengthen. (And that also makes sense why my legs hurt during my period, they're displaced cramps. XD)
