Jun. 10th, 2005 11:00 pmThe hum of the air conditioning was nearly soundless. A scent permeated through the air, a fragrance the suite's new occupant had chosen himself.
Fuji took a deep breath. 78% nitrogen, 20% oxygen and other trace gases. Not that he knew, but Inui had told him so, that they imitated Earth's condition as much as possible on these ships, more as a selling point than anything. Later on he would check out one of the restaurants at the first carriage. Apparently it served food synthesised from vegetables and heavy metals.
Fuji sat down at the bed and watched his luggage, mostly foodstuffs and clothes, and other things that he would need in this journey, be unloaded by three robots. He had brought more than he would in an ordinary trip, but it was going to take one year, five months and three days for him to reach Planet 203-A, where Yuuta was living. And that meant he needed more things than usual to keep himself from being bored.
