A little story
Oct. 27th, 2010 02:34 pmI actually have no memories of this little episode (I have very few memories of childhood), but my sister said this truly did happen when I first went to school: my teachers asked my mum if I was getting help with my homework because the handwriting in my homework was so much better than that in my classwork. My mum said no, because I always did my own work. After some investigation, it turned out that when I was in school, I used my right hand to write, and switched to my left when I got home. When asked why I did that, I apparently said it was because I noticed everybody else was using their right hand.
storme's first reaction to this was, "ah, you were such a little conformist," whereas I was just quite impressed with my young, little self that I noticed small things like which hand people used to write!
