Apr. 9th, 2009 07:29 pmToday at work saw me working on four word documents, one spreadsheet and a chapter of fic at the same time. I'm better than a quadcore computer?
I ordered a Xbox 360 Wired Controller for PC on 31st March and chose free shipping. They sent me an email saying it was dispatched on 1st April using Royal Mail. Today is the 9th, still nothing. I told Amazon, who said that the estimated delivery date was the 7th (because I chose free shipping) so I should wait until the 15th before I talk to them about missing item.
Well, either they lied in that dispatch email or it's lost. There is no way that the controller can take more than one week to get to me. And they did send me the dispatch notice on the 1st. To tell me to wait till 15th is just being ridiculous. Let's be honest: waiting another week is not going to make the package turn up. It just isn't.

Please, do tell me how is the 15th SHORTLY after the 7th?
Fneh. I think I'm going to write some porn. On my 26 inch screen.
[edit] Wrote back to Amazon basically saying "dude, that's not acceptable" and now they've come back offering replacement/refund. Chose refund because the item is now out of stock. =/ Still, it was good that I complained and they responded.
