Jan. 31st, 2009 10:22 pmMy desktop works perfectly fine, in fact it's in very good shape given its age, but... it can't handle games. I haven't tried Sims 2 on it but I'm sure it won't cope. And if it won't cope with Sims 2, no chance it'll cope with anything that comes out these days, let's be honest.
Lookinig at gaming PCs. They are so very expensive. Given that I seem to go through phases when it comes to PC gaming, and I already have a desktop AND a laptop, I just can't justify getting another computer... even though I paid only £100 for the PC and nothing for the laptop. I don't think I can just upgrade the existing one... the shiny things are calling out to me... I'm such a tech h0.
Started replaying FFX. It's such a shock with the change of graphics and system, going from TLR to that, I'm glad I didn't jump to FFVII. And man, the battles are boring. I want to go through the story, but whenever there's fighting, I miss TLR really really badly.
I bought myself a digital camera at the end of last year. It's a typical one, isn't all-singing-and-dancing, suits my needs just right. The only mistake I've made was forgetting to tell my family that I bought one... so they got me one for my birthday. >> When I heard about it (they told me on the phone) I didn't say I already got one, of course. I guess this means I'm gonna sell the one I bought. So yeah, if anyone wants Sony 8.1MP camera plus 2GB memory stick for, say, £70 plus shipping, just holler. I've barely used it, must've taken less than ten photos with it so far.
In writing, I've reached the stage of "I'm enjoying myself far too much writing this crap" stage. Maybe I should insert some porn.
I find the lack of effort in saying hi and friending at the TLR friending meme very sad. It doesn't help that the mod, who was the one to make the meme and the first to reply, hasn't made an example of saying hi and asking to add people. Never seen a friending meme like this, nobody, except me, asking to add people. Then again, this is my first gaming fandom. But ah, in case anyone does add me as a friend as a result of the meme, most of this introductory post and this intro still apply, except that I had moved house already, so am now house-sharing (as opposed to flat-sharing) with
giving_ground, and her brain is slightly closer to total destruction.
