Dying to write TLR fic although I don't even have any ideas yet. I was still stats grinding last night and really wanted to just watch the ending on youtube, but didn't because I know I'm more or less ready for the final boss now. Did rewatch the clip at the end of Disc 1/beginning of Disc 2 though - it's completely kick-ass - and laughed again at Blocter GLOMPING David. Blocter is the one on the far left. Yes, David got completely buried by Blocter. I can actually imagine them growing up together, seeing as Blocter is only five years older than Dave... *snicker* Emmy too, but Emmy had to do her Grand Tour so they didn't get to play anymore. :(

(Also, I think Torgal secretly has a sense of humour. This is another (and possibly the true) reason why Allan fell out with him.)

I'm about 40% into The Assassin's Apprentice. Thought I haven't got through that much, was surprised when I took it out on the train and saw where my bookmark was. I guess it's because nothing much has happened so far. Or, should I say, a lot has happened in the story, but what I've read so far feels like a semi-dispassionate recounting of events, so it hasn't been very exciting.

My last ditch effort to get people without an Xbox360 into TLR

This is just an idea, with a poll to gauge interest.

When I replay TLR, would anybody like to read a write-up of the story of the game, maybe in several parts, supplemented by YouTube videos of the cutscenes and any important fights (videos made by others, not by me)? I can try to make it sound interesting... >>?

The write-up won't contain explanation on how to play the game, where the secrets are, etc. Just the story.
