Day of win

I left my phone at home again. XD;;;

I wrote to ID Net about the extra £47 I paid them. Sent the letter yesterday, got an email reply today and they offered to give me 3 months of free broadband in return! I pay £25 a month now, which means I'm getting £75 worth of service back. ID Net are more expensive but they're efficient and the customer service is GUD. Been putting off writing to them but this just proves that to receive, one must ask. MOAR MONEY TOWARDS MY PS3! (Although I've spotted some auctions I'd really like to bid on. Again. orz)

Been told to chair a project review meeting on Monday, because it's one of those objectives I need to satisfy towards chartership. Of course it's not just to chair a meeting, but it's a start.

Before they decided to make me chair it, they decided they would do it the "proper" way this time. Before, we always just sat around and talked about stuff. Now there's a 2-page agenda of... wait... 10 items, each with about 10 bullet points of srs bsnz such as "has the Verification Requirement Schedule been completed to specify the required level of checking for different elements?" (followed by sub-bullet points)

..............Wait a minuteeeeeeee, we've never done this before in the last 3.5 years I've been here. I don't know what this meeting is supposed to be like. And isn't this the Project Director's role?!!!??!?

Of course, they only gave it to me partly for the lolz and so that I get some experience, they aren't expecting much. We'll probably just end up running the meeting like before. But dude, I'm the kind of person who, when given a task, will try to do it like it's supposed to be done. Which makes this DIFFICULT.

On the fandom side of life, I need many, many more hours in the day. I have lots of things I want to scan (one YukiKiri doujinshi coming soon, followed by Super Tennis Robot Wars, and one more by the same circle, then some Higa, then maybe some Dokurodan? Their Mojahon (site shows 1&2. I also have the special book) really, REALLY needs to be shared because it is so. damn. cute) and translate for 40point5. Scan & translate takes a long time, especially with 40.5 it takes creative html-ing to make it easy to understand. =/ With Mojahon, too, the story needs explaining, because it's sweet and beautiful. It's not a matter of scan & upload, it's scan, clean, translate, upload, html. Wah. :(

And I want to write! I never have time to write. T_T By the time I get home I'm too tired to be creative.

The famous HK sex scandal, now dubbed the Edisongate by interneters. The best bit though, I think, is how they dubbed the secret source of the photos "Kira". No one know who he/she is, but this person keeps spreading rumours and making claims of when more photos will be released... and he/she has successfully avoided arrest so far...

I wonder if the videos are out yet. Should do a search when I get home.
