I feel like talking in a bubbly way

Only got to work at 10am because of the stupid, stupid trains. So much to do, and I'm suppose to leave on time to have dinner with family!

However! I get paid today. L(^0^L) END-OF-YEAR BANZAI!

London reached 0C this morning, which is pretty cold for the capital. Out here in the great Essex, it's a bit colder than that. I wonder what the betting odds for a white Christmas are. Shame that I can't get on betting websites from work.

New mattress verdict: Guu-! d(^_^)b I could get up this morning with no problems. I'm still stiff, it's not going to cure anything but at least I think it won't make it worse. My bed is really high now though, because I've put the new mattress on top of the old one...

I've been reading 40.5 on the train (sorry, will move on to Pratchett soon!) and OMG the hilarity. The question came up - why did Yagyuu agree to switch with Niou? Yagyuu's response: "O-of course it's for the s-sake of winning! *turns to Niou* Niou-kun, don't tell anyone, okay?" So apparently Niou had found out something Yagyuu didn't want people to know... >D As Sanada would say, 微温いわ!

Renji of Coronation Street has just got his story a lot more fleshed-out thanks to Unni's random suggestion last night, when she doesn't even know the AU any more than the rest of the world. *is amused* Now I just twiddle my fingers and wonder how tragic/happy I should make it. And whether it's his background story or current story... maybe at least some of them deserves to be happy...

(giving_ground, would it be really weird to call the AU "EC1V 1NE"? XD)

Sometimes my mind boggles at the way people react when trials find the suspects not guilty, or retrials find the previous convicion unsafe. They always go "OMG, how could you release this man, he killed my family/friend/whoever!" As if the first person the police arrested and charged must be the guilty one. Don't people look at it this way "OMG, maybe they arrested the wrong guy and my family/friend's killer is still out there!"

Maybe Barry George really didn't kill Jill Dando. Shouldn't her family be worried that the real killer might actually be still out there?

Okay, anger and grief factors a lot into it. And maybe at the court you can see the menace in those eyes and you can tell that's the murderer. And yes, I do realise I've simplified things very much (I'm not going to write an essay; I have work to do). But I don't believe every single person who got released after retrial/found not guilty must be a criminal.

Hey... this would be interesting fic material... a miscarriage of justice...

Trying to decide how to post things to 40point5. The fanbook is as "ordered" as the previous two, so you get, for example:

Followed by bag checks of Gakuto and Oshitari
Followed by drawings sent in by fans, guessing what's underneath Shiraishi's bandages

Followed by National Tournament tennis court info
Followed by Rikkai school info

Yes, it's like that. And you'll find more Seigaku stuff somewhere in the middle of the book. And Konomi interviews somewhere after Higa info and before Hiyoshi and Yukimura bag checks.

There will need to be extensive use of tags. But should I scan it school by school, or item by item (all profiles of all schools, followed by all bag checks...) ah, decisions decisions...
