Nov. 17th, 2006 10:17 amHas anyone been getting problems with Royal Mail recently? My sister's Amazon order hasn't arrived, she told them, they resent it and it still hasn't got here this time round. Also, her ebay UK buyer said her item still hasn't arrived after a week...
It just has to be when I went away to get a cuppa that my phone rings, scaring my coworkers to hell with the very bad singing of "Try Again". XD
Has anyone got the mp3 of the Death Note OP I can have? *______*
Gone to work in t-shirt and jeans today and told people to just pretend I'm going out on site later. ^^"
I've downloaded all of KR555 (50 eps + movie), which should keep me going through the times of no internet... and I have fic to write.
My back is fine, but I ache all over already =_= *WEAK* Doesn't help that I'm donating a lot of books to charity but the only charity shop I can get to is the one near work. I mean, let's face it, there are no charity shops in E1. XD; So I've gotta carry them all to work...
It seems like moving house will start at 8am. Liz, if you do come, come whenever you want~ morning or afternoon, doesn't matter, just give me a ring. ♥

I'm normally not scared of dogs. I've been through DoE where I was literally surrounded by them as they barked at me and escorted me off the premises.
But.
I went down to the baker's to get a hot cross bun just now. Somebody tied their big dog to a postbox thing right next to the office entrance. And as I used the keyfob to go back in, it suddenly started barking at me and it was really loud and there was just enough leash for it to almost bite me and it made me jump and let go of the door and I was so scared.

Bad: HR screwing me up and therefore I can't move house tomorrow.
Good: Move some time next week or next weekend instead, save a few days' rent. (I have originally left a week overlap between the two tenancies so that I can go back and clean up in my own time) Cleaning up won't take long because there are 3 people to do it. As it turns out, Sai is sick anyway and it wouldn't be nice to ask him to help with move tomorrow. More time to prepare, no need to rush so much with packing. Can order net package for new place in advance so I won't have to wait so long to have net there.
Bad: Finishing draft report to send to Client for approval, and then Client's email can't receive it because it's too big. (note to self: 15MB is too big a file for TfL inboxes. Reducing it to 5MB is still too large)
Good: Finished draft report in record time and getting it right the first time, as Boss said it was very good.
Bad: It pissed down with rain on the way home.
Good: The coat and socks were soaked (ick), but I was alright inside.
Bad: The train was delayed for half an hour.
Good: I got a seat anyway and finished ch.9 of YamaYuki fic.
Bad: The station near home was flooded and there was a lot of walking around avoiding puddles.
Good: I still managed to get to M&S anyway and bought shitloads of nice food for myself because I fucking deserve it. And I didn't slip and fall on my ass.
