There's something awfully wrong about spending hours reading your own fic.

Need to write [The City]. Need to finish [Skin Deep] (temp title). Need to write [Subtext] (temp title, ZukaFuji oneshot).

I will buy lottery ticket for Euro Millions. Apparently the next draw has a really high jackpot. If I win a good amount, I'm gonna quit my job and write stuff.

Would a kind soul please upload the installation file for iTunes music player? Work has filtered the Apple website saying it's high bandwidth.

no administrator rights, can't install. *stabs*

[edit] Coworker thought my current desktop picture is quite amusing. XD

I have this really stupid question about iTunes. I've read up on sharing music bought from iTunes Music Store with other people on the same computer network, all the authentifications etc, but if I'm to burn the m4p file onto a CD-Rom, can I then play it on another machine using iTunes?

And, I know that iTunes allow you to burn audio CDs. Would that work with m4p files? (doesn't it mean you can indirectly rip the tracks into mp3, though?)

Random and unrelated: I'm going to make a Pokute icon. Because they are squishy, nutritious, and they walk.

There is good news at work, which I won't bother detailing. There is bad news at work, which is I have to be at the site at 8am tomorrow......

I may also be home early tomorrow for chat. Will try to keep both AIM and MSN open. If I don't get distracted by the PS2...

[livejournal.com profile] lina_lau, they sell the dance mat on AmazonUK from about £8 (they have several choices). Do you want me to get it?

I think I've got a lot of VLP logs with Yukimura... or maybe we just mock-RPed a lot? There's a finished one (phone convo) and an unfinished one (home coming), and then there was the shopping one which I'm not sure if we're still using.

Fusion Tez and Inui need to talk. ^_~

*dances like a Pokute*

[livejournal.com profile] lina_lau made a new layout for [livejournal.com profile] word_games!

(good choice of picture, don't you think ^_~)

HI. PLEASE LOOK THIS WAY. >D

I'm going to make the move to make a specific filter not for the sake of privacy. (I don't normally do that!) I figured I should make a filter for my babbles about fic writing to avoid spamming those who are not interested. It'll mostly be about my PoT things, eventually I see myself writing HxH, DNAngel and a few others. It's unlikely that I'll be writing WK anymore.

So, without further ado:

I really want London to win.

I'm not much of a sports fan. When I watch the Olympics, I usually just go for the opening/closing ceremonies, the gymnastics, and the mens swimming. But I want to see the games in London because East London and the rest of the capital would benefit from the urban regeneration work. And even though David Beckham's speech about bringing the games to the children is pretty cheesy, it's true. Sports can inspire children so much. Kids stray into crime and other nasty things because they have nobody to look up to and nothing to do all day. Especially in the East London, where there are so many ASBO kids, having world class atheletes and top sporting facilities, I just think it's a good thing. Giving out ASBOs and locking them up isn't the long term solution, after all. What we need to give is inspiration.

I've been thinking, what do people generally hate the most? The one thing I can come up with is to be falsely accused.

Me, I have one thing which I hate even more than being falsely accused. And that is to be seen as an simpleton / made to look like an idiot.

Gonna have a shower now and then play games.

[edit] don't mind me, I just have a really short temper these days.
