I don't actually know Star Wars at all
Jun. 18th, 2005 11:21 pmWent to watch a (series of) stand up comedy at The Comedy Store tonight. It was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. My poor Y2 only understood 50% of it though, because as stand up comedies go, you need to be aware of current affairs, gossips, and the culture of the country to understand it. So I had to do some explaining. But anyway, I haven't laughed that hard for a long long time.
Oh, this was mentioned at some point. I wasn't aware of it. But say, if Jedi really became a religion, then the believers might call every other faith in the universe The Daaaark Side. And teh Yoda shalt be worshipped. And Light Sabres carried by the faithfuls like crosses worn by Catholics. (additional info)
