After trying numerous fixes and failing, I've resorted to uninstalling SP2. And it still isn't working. The IP is still going to 169.x.x.x, so I have to manually change it to 192.168.x.x.

Did the whole home network setup again, now at least the little LAN icon in systray say that the Local Area Network is connected. On both comps. And I can see sister's comp on the home network thingy.

The thing is? She's still not getting any internet connection. *headdesk* I have a feeling I'll have to ask an acquaintance for help. Grrrr.

It's 3:46 in the morning, I'm hungry and writing fic and once again considering ruining Yukimura's character. *sigh*

I've given up on the internet sharing -_- Had so many things planned for tonight, including scanning things for people because I said I would and never got around to doing it but trying to fix the connection took all my time. Woe.
