Finished Star Ocean: The Last Hope.
.........
I don't know what to think.
Edge staying behind and then reappearing in front of the group? Tri-Ace totally did that only a few months ago in Infinite Undiscovery. orz
Crowe's ending. LMAO. Win.
All that special effort to see those very short extra endings. I was hoping to see a nice one of Faize, in the form of a flashback, but was disappointed (well, I was hoping that both he and Edge survive, because wouldn't that make a nice change???) I suppose there isn't much left to say about him. It's interesting, what they've done with him. Sure, making him the ultimate villain isn't the most creative thing ever, and they could've worked harder on the process of how Faize lost his way before he blew himself up (rather than waste hours talking about Reimi repetitively), but he's a character whose weakness is his strength. Sort of. I love how Edge puts it, the fact that Faize is too kind. That kindness became his downfall.
So Arumat chooses not to live with his own people or accept the surgery that'd help him live longer, I assume.
They could've made it more clear why Lymle's the way she is. Lutea only alluded to it.
Stephen Kenny and Heinz are totally sleeping together. Heinz has firm control of their relationship.
There seems to be a lot more character background info online than in the game. I wonder where all that came from. TLH is a prequel but I don't think any of the characters appear in the other games...
Overall I've done pretty well. Most of the quests done, all endings get-o, etc. Not sure if I'll go back to the post-game dungeon or finish the remaining quests. It felt really important when I was playing, but now that I've seen the end, going back to farm materials for quests seem ridiculously tedious.
Anyway. I enjoyed that. But is it making me say "I'm going to replay this like, now" the way The Last Remnant did? No.
So not ready to go back to work tomorrow. Can the weekend go on forever?
