Thanks, Nori, for the Eddie Izzard. XD

........I get a feeling unless there's a SanaYana exchange, I'll never be able to make myself finish the WIP.

I want to talk about TLR all day long. Plot, battle strategies, characters, designs, where to grind, sidequests, even something as impossible as cosplay. Anything. But since the fandom comm is disappointing (people seem too lazy to even discuss plot... or maybe they haven't finished playing yet?), I ninja at GamesFAQ (for there is stupidity which I do not wish to partake in) and mutter quietly to myself. XD (I think Liz is going a bit mad with my babbling about it already.)

And I suppose not many people are as crazy as me, to buy an xbox360 because there were two whole games (Lost Odyssey & DMC4) I wanted to play. And people have lives, unlike me.

Ahhh there was a post I was going to make last night, which will make you alllllll become interested in TLR, but I got too busy playing and forgot and can't do it now because I need resources like screencaps and photoshop.

The temptation to bleach my hair is, once again, strong... the blonde was easy, the nice pink is harder. The pinks available are usually too strong. The nice pink I had once was the result of a week-old purple dye being bleached. Ah, what to do. Maybe a turquoise... don't think I can get turquoise dye here though.

TLR looks all kinds of awesome, but I'm waiting til I get a PS3, which will take a while. ;_; Meanwhile I've still got FF12 to finish...

What do you think about FF12 so far? As a FF game I was quite disappointed. :(

I bought the XBox360 for TLR and TLR alone. I may or may not supply myself with other games in the future (a 4th quarter 2009 game called Risen looks like it might be in the realm of my interests, but there's not enough info released for it, yet, to tell).

So if you're crazy for buying a game platform for a couple of games, then I happily join your ranks of insanity because I clearly did the same thing... and am willing to discuss it (when I'm not sleeping) anytime.

Edit: When I said 'discuss it', I meant the game. Realized it may have been clear to me, but looked like I meant discussing insanity (though, honestly, I'm not adverse to that either).

Crazy TLR fans of the world UNITE!

I got xbox360 primarily for LO, after seeing it at a friend's place. Been a DMC fan for ages and since that was available on xbox as well and LO is xbox only, that just decided it for me. PS3 can wait. Even FF13 will come out on xbox, afterall!

TLR I heard about a long time ago and then completely forgot about... until I saw the TV ad. And then I jumped in my seat and yelled I NEED THIS GAME. XD Then friends got it for me for Christmas. I spent all my Christmas holiday playing it, probably 9 or 10 hours a day.

There needs to be fic. Merchandise. Fanart sites. Doujinshi. Sequel.

And I need to get my stats up enough to beat The Fallen. orz

I, too, sort of got it as a holiday gift - in that I mentioned I wanted an XBox to my mom -she doesn't believe in buying game-related things for adults - knowing it would mean I'd probably get a gift card to BestBuy (which would help cover some of the cost). Now, it's somewhat of a running joke that my parents should have just bought me the XBox as the gift card ended up covering nearly the entire cost. Gift-cash covered the rest of it and the game, itself. So I consider it a joint-family effort to get me what I wanted without having to say they actually fed what they perceive to be childish.

Merchandise - yes. Fanart sites - yes. Doujinshi - very yes. Sequel - very yes.

I remember writing somewhere, "I hate you, The Fallen, and your insta-death Armageddon." Then I went to Nagapur without knowing the consequences and missed my stat grinding chance. This time 'round I'm just stat grinding all the time. I'll get to The Fallen tonight. Crossing my fingers.

I unfortunately had to pay for my own xbox. But oh, that feeling of satisfaction, hugging that big box in my arms and going home. ^^

Can't wait till the game comes out in PS3. That'll definitely help in the doujinshi area I think. Xbox sales in Japan doubled the week TLR was released there, but their favourite console is still PS3.

About 10 BRs ago I went to try Fallen and got my a handed to me... about time I give it another go... hahaha maybe I'll try tonight as well!

XDDD Not a big gamer but I'm amazed how you get so much into them. XDD

Tohui has an Xbox, but mostly he got it for the rock band thing. I wonder if TRL is released in Latin America and how much it will cost. XD;;

\0/ I think there's another one I can grab off the network and upload, too XD;

+ I wouldn't say no to a YanaSana exchange. Except the part where any will to write anything lately has been completely sapped. D:

I have mixed feelings about it. The plot did nothing for me at all, and apart from Balthier and Fran the characters didn't grab me either. I do like Balthier but he needed someone to bounce off and none of the others inspired me... it's pretty and all, certainly there are worse ways to pass a few hours, but yeah, overall there is a certain 'meh' about it for an FF game.

The license system was okay - not quite as much fun as FFX's, but easier to get the hang of. I liked the gambit system - let your characters level up while you drink tea, hurrah! - but I wonder whether it also takes some of the adrenaline out of the bigger battles. Not sure.

So, yeah, not what I'd hoped, especially character and story-wise. I wonder if FF13 will be any better?
