If you don't read, or comment, or pimp the fics at switching_it_up, I will mock you to your death if I ever catch you whine - even in the slighest - about lack of D1 fics to read.

It's a fest. To make a fest great, it requires contributors, and contributors include both writers and readers. Make it a fun and rewarding experience for everyone! If you've got your gift, whether you personally enjoyed it or not, link your friends to it! Remember someone worked really hard to create something according to your prompt. Rec everything that you like! It's not difficult!

It's not just D1 Exchange. There are lots of fests this winter, and fandom should be happy and hyped up about it. What's the point if you're all going to sit in your own little corner and only poke your head out when your gift is posted, and then retreat again? Can we all stop being selfish now? Please?

switching it up is THE EPIC! i look forward to it everyday XDDD, never missed one release yet, that somehow i wish it wouldn't end. whether it be au, rl, fanart, or it has a happy ending or no. if possible, i'd most likely rec the whole site haha. i just wonder if people are just lazy in commenting/commending or what =/...

RL is kicking my butt right now. I plan to dedicate part of my Saturday morning to reading the switching_it_up submissions (including my gift T___T *faaaiils*), though!

Thing is, reccing seems a bit redundant to me when I know all the people on my flist who would care about D1 fic at all are participating and reading. *knows very few people*
