Achh, it's really hard to find the perfect Yagyuu megane, the one I downloaded was most probably the same ones as you with the oval frames. But I guess they're better than the square framed ones!

I have Nightlife/Seasons/FreeTime/ApartmentLife! Actually, I have two University and Open for Business as well but since switching to the downloaded versions I haven't bothered with them. Possibly coincidence that these are both EPs which require characters to work and study rather than play games with their kids although they both take up a lot of memory as well!

I briefly enjoyed having my own Koneko to play with but I wasn't that interested in the running-a-business aspects. Seasons and Apartment Life are the best of the bunch really - they both "transform" the game rather than just adding objects or activities.

I forgot to mention Vacation - which I also have and includes seaside! Not good for households with kids, however, as they tend to run down the beach every afternoon instead of doing homework (or indeed, anything else). It also has a Japanese holiday resort with tea ceremony, kimonos etc, which can be handy for anime fangirls.
