So, I really want some sushi pillows, but their international shipping prices are off the scale and I'd need to pay import expensive taxes.

Would anybody in the US be able to help me, please?

A few of them are available in Germany via http://www.clusiadeco.nl/. They are very expensive, but there'd be smaller shipping and no tax charges, of course. I'll only be home a few days next week though, so if you'd like me to order them for you, have them shipped to me and reship them to you, you'd have to react fast. Plus, probably ordering via the US is still cheaper considering the dollar, even if it's rising again.

So they don't ship to England directly? What are their shipping charges to you - been poking around the site but can't find the info. I just want to work out roughly how much it'll be in total. :)

Apparently they only ship to Germany and NL, shipping to Germany is 6 Euros. From there to you should be at most another 15 Euros, probably far less, depending on the weight of the thing.

Comparing the two sites, the US site offers free shipping for 4+ pillows (I might be getting 4 or 5), and I should be able to ask friends to mark item as USED and worth pennies so to escape the import tax, but at the moment they are out of stock on the tamago pillow, which I really really want! The other site has it though...

Yup, no worries. And if time is no issue, you do know that the limit for import tax is going to change soon to from 15 to 150 Euros EU-wide, right? :)) Shopping at ThinkGeek will be cheap, SOOOOOOOOON. :)
