pezPimp your fics here. As many as you like. Don't just rec it, tell me why you like it and why I should read it. PIMP IT. Let your ego run free!
Everyone who doesn't have things to pimp or don't feel like pimping, go read the stuff pimped!
It's a long list, but trust me, I've written LOADS of stuff, this is only a small portion:
[Megane Rangers] (PG so far, AU) - it's funny. It's seriously funny. It's got megane, it's got spandex, it's got tentacles, it's got gouya. It's got D1, YamaYuki, YamaZuka, ZukaFuji and Sanada abuse. Therefore this is Good Fic.
[Strange Relationship] (NC17, futurefic, complete) - my first proper stab at D1. It was hugely fun to write! You should read it because there are two sides to each chapter, one from Niou's side and one from Yagyuu's side and put them together you'll see why their relationship is so fucked up. And you should also read it because there's porn.
[The City] (NC17, AU, character death, complete + 2 side stories so far) - I love love love this story because it was 1) too much fun to write and 2) too much fun to write 3) I got to kill people. It's crime fiction, sort-of. There is YukiSana, YanaYuki, D1, vague suggestion of SanaSengoku (yes) and Hiyoshi being Hiyoshi. This story is about the police, the hitmen, and the people inbetween. It's about where your loyalty lies, if you should believe someone when they tell you they love you, justice, manipulation and living for a purpose. Why you should read it: 1) this story ate my life, 2) I promise you, it's like nothing you've ever read before. It's highly intense and full of suspense. And people die. And there are lots of surprises.
[Trial of Trust] (NC17, futurefic, character death, complete) - This is ZukaFuji. They grow up, they're together, but some people just wouldn't allow it. Tezuka gets a brain tumour at the start of this story, but this isn't about his death, it's about what he does before his death, and how even Tezuka can be pushed toward insanity.
[Need] (G, oneshot) - ZukaFuji. I don't know, I suppose this story got a bit personal soon after I started writing.
[Alone] (G, oneshot) - Oshitari and Atobe in London. Oshitari doesn't understand Atobe. It was the sort of fic that came to my head whilst commuting and I had to get it out before it made me cry. And after I wrote it, I cried anyway. Because I'm lame.
[Wonderland] (PG, oneshot) - D1. Niou's loneliness and desire to escape. This is sort of a prequel to [Strange Relationship]. And you should read it because you'll find out why Niou's a white hedgehog.
[Stop Trying] (G, oneshot) - YanaYuki. This is for you if you like quietly angsty romance. Yanagi yearns for Yukimura but never dares to reach out.
[Cadence] (G, oneshot) - more YanaYuki. If you liked the one above, you'll probably like this one too.
[Unlovable] - (G, oneshot) - ZukaAto. They're in university, sharing a flat. Atobe's family has gone bankrupt. And he has a pink mug that says DIVA. But he puts up with it all with a lot of dignity and he's still Atobe.
[Road] - (G, oneshot) - ZukaFuji. They get older, and Fuji leaves to study overseas. He asks Tezuka not to wait for him, but deep in his heart fears being left alone.
[Love Story] - (G, oneshot) - OshiGaku. After years of no contact, Gakuto goes back to Japan and finds that Yuushi has become a romance novelist. This is about what changes and what doesn't change. You should read this if you like OshiGaku, if you like a chunky, satisfying oneshot, if you like introspectiveness, if you like Gakuto not portrayed as stupid and if you don't like seeing them fucking all the time.
[Fine] - (NC17, oneshot) - SanaYana. Well, I only just posted this last week. I love Renji and I love writing him. I see him as the kind of guy that is unassuming, understated and knows exacty where his place is - but here, all of this plays against him.

Porcelain (NC-17) SanaYuki. I like it even if I don't like the pairing (HAY LOOK I PIMP SHIT I WROTE FOR YOU <3). Foulmouthed Yukimura = fab, bumbling awkward Sanada wins my life. And daisies.
Untitled (G) Yagyuu/Niou. It's really only character study, but I really liked how it turned out.
Comfortably Numb (PG) Yanagi/Sanada. Hokkaido, snowball fights and fluff.
Raison D'Etre (NC-17) Atobe/Kamio. A look into relationships, things aren't always as they seem.
Cure For The Itch (NC-17) Niou/Kirihara. Okay, I just like the porn. Using each other for sex when they really want someone else.

As for me, well, okay:
I was going to rec my SanaNiou, but then I saw you read it, but then I thought, oh, heck, I'll do it anyway. Turning the Devious into the Direct (http://reposte.livejournal.com/15872.html) SanaNiou, R. I wanted to write SanaNiou and prove that 1) SanaYuki is not the be all and end all ship for Sanada and 2) D1 is not the be all and end all ship for Niou. And I found out, I really liked writing them together- Sanada being all suspicious of Niou's motives, Niou pushing himself and being a pest, but deep down, he's hurt from being rejected and I think there's potential for them to be sweet with each other, somehow, and share...ribs on dates. And yakiniku.
The other fic of mine (flocked) is Rewind Forward (http://reposoir.livejournal.com/667754.html) D1, NC17. It's really long and has D1, only it's another one of those longwinded, going nowhere fics which cause teens to off themselves because apparently some teens take things far too seriously. But anyway, sorta like a "how they came to be" fic starting from the beginning, but I really have enjoyed putting my own spin on things, like making Niou's family the uptight, proper, dorky meganes and Yagyuu being the "accident" and having major mother issues and it's fun for me to write, which I hope shows off in the fic.

(I say this because the rest is in progress, not because it sucks.) AU full of supernatural creatures
and sex! ...actually I honest to god set out to write pointless porn and this was what I ended up with. I don't. know. how. But I had tons of fun![Only So Much Rain] - (PG, oneshot) Sanada/Yukimura. I like the atmosphere of this! Not much more to say but I'm happy with it.
[Fair game] - (PG, oneshot) Kite, Rin. HIGA FIC, DUDE. There isn't enough. They're fun to write, and Kite is such a git. Yeah, I do consider that a recommendation. :D
[Far Side] - (R, oneshot) Niou/Yagyuu. I was getting bored with my D1 and this one came out differently, for which I think a lot of people didn't like it but I did, once I'd come to terms with it. Niou is sort of crazy in the head and I like him that way. I'm not sorry. Plus Yagyuu is a git. And people are murdered. :D
And there's sex....and the ones from fandoms you hate/just don't know a thing about which I am gonna mention anyway because I like them:
[The moon and our scars] - (R, oneshot) Hakkai/Gojyo. Gojyo starts to tell Hakkai about himself. Hey, I don't think I've read another fic dealing with exactly how this subject is raised, so I like it for that.
[Chance] - (R, oneshot) Mugen/Jin. It's a post-series story. There are plenty of them, at least insofar as there's plenty of anything for this series, but I think the atmosphere in this one sorta wins. I like good atmosphere! Also Mugen's POV is one of the most fun things to write ever. He has less shame than Niou.

Date: 2007-09-12 08:55 pm (UTC)Equal Measure. (PG, YanaKiri.) Kirihara's determined to beat Yanagi, because only then can they be on equal ground. But maybe they're already on equal ground where it counts.
The Council of War, With Tea on the Side (G. SanaYanaYuki). The troika plots over tea. Renji's feeling a little bit reckless, in a totally Renji way. I especially like Sanada in this - he's so often the poor put-upon one between Yukimura and Renji in fics, and I wanted to write him where he's holding his own.
This Is Our Year (PG, ToriPiyo) I was developing my Hiyoshi voice with this one, and I think it came out well. A series of vignettes following Ohtori and Hiyoshi from their first encounter to helming Hyoutei during their third year.
Brownie Points (G, TezuMiyu) My Tezuka is straight, but I never found a girl for him until Miyuki showed up. This is probably my favorite fic that I've written about them. My favorite part is the image of Tezuka making himself sick on chocolate his first year of junior high \:D/
For Your Eyes Only (G. Inui, Yanagi) I love the YanaInu relationship, and this is just a little drabble that I think COULD happen - because I can see Renji doing whatever he could to manipulate things so that Rikkai and Seigaku had a rematch.
Negotiation (G, Rikkai). Elf flunked his English midterm. Sanada gets him out of it. By far, my favorite part of this one is the Street Fighter theme Elf did on the exam. :D
Constance & Change (PG, ShishiAto) The Atobe's Haircut fic. I like it because I'd written a kind of girly Atobe for a long time, and this is the first time I really shed it.
The Notebook (PG, YanaKiri) Someone sneaks a peak at Renji's notebook. I tried hard to keep their identity a secret until near the end.

And I shall have to check out all the other things you've written, as I don't think I've read all of them. (I have also read The City and was quite impressed by its scope, even if detective thrillers aren't normally my genre.)
As for me, ahahaha, I always feel weird pimping my fiction. But I shall try.
Shy Guy - Kaidoh/Koharu - I like this because it's a rare pairing and somewhat funny and Koharu is really a scream and more people should write him. Also, annoying Kaidoh is ridiculously entertaining.
Our Mistake - Inui/Renji & Mizuki - My Mizuki voice is off in this but I find the concept amusing. It might be the funniest thing I've written and I adore the Inui-Mizuki-Fudomine scene.
Goals - Inui/Kaidoh - I tried to show, not tell in this story that I think I was somewhat successful. I also think I do some good characterization with Inui. I like all of this story's bits, including the present tense. It might be my favorite.

It's me trying to explore the metaphysics of the Saiyuki universe through the madness of an obsessed Warprince. Sin, sun and salvation, this is not the Army you're looking for. ...even my pimp-text gets weird. I guess it's that kind of fic.
