The nature of the events, and the people involved, are very very different - one is scavenging, the other was looting - but somehow, somehow, what the people are doing at the shipwreck reminds me of what happened at Baghdad not that long ago.

Oh, Masa said that he went to an audition for a film. Whatever film it is, I hope he gets the role~!

What people are doing at the shipwreck reminds me of what people have been doing at shipwrecks for centuries, especially in that part of the world. I guess people aren't any more honest, civilised or humane to the birdies now than then - although they're probably a lot less poor.

A free motorbike would be nice but doesn't it have to be licensed/registered before you can use it on the road?

I really know nothing about shipwrecks in general, so when they talked about how it's "always done" in the news, I was all "what?"

That's what I thought. Perhaps they'll just take it apart and sell it as spare parts...
