yes.
it is the law of kibble
any person who is static for any period of time will generate a finite amount of crap at an exponential rate that will not be noticed until said person moves.

We seem to have that problem too :D; We got rid of so much stuff, yet the house has more stuff in it than it did @_@ (probably because we gave up the garage to my brother & his wife >>)
