The question is, what happens to the teddy bear?

Left work a little late today because there was stupidness, namely "oh hai, here, read this brief. We want a feasibility study of connecting this road to this road in London to free up the current connecting road. It'll have to either be a flyover or a level-crossing because of the railway line. Plz to be submitting your fee proposal and methodology by next Monday? <3 Oh and we want the report on 3rd Jan <3 Of course we're fully aware this only gives you 15 working days to produce the work. :DDDD"

Wanting the work quick is one thing. But seriously, although I suppose what they want is only a broad-brush-stroke, giving consultants only 15 days to do something like that is just wasting tax payers' money. Because the brush stroke will have to be very broad indeed.

...

With cartoons insulting prophet causing mass protests etc and jailing over incorrent naming of teddy bears, aren't we glad that the Japanese manga industry hasn't picked up on Islam? Imagine what'd happen if an Islamic version of Angel Sanctuary was published. *shudders*

Still no sign of Rikkai Second Service DVD from Nippon Export. Has anyone got theirs yet?

Yeah, but I question the competency here...

I detect the familiar signs of a looming end of year underspend.

That said, the most unreasonable hoops I ever asked anyone to jump through turned out to be the best £9.98m we ever spent!
