I WILL NOT SUFFER WISDOM TOOTH PROBLEMS 4 DAYS BEFORE I GO ON HOLIDAY D<

[edit] I posted [Road]. Rereading it, I realised the story doesn't flow well, almost to the point of falling apart, but... that's the way the it has to be, I guess. It isn't like I can't write properly, and maybe I shouldn't have posted the story altogether, but oh well. I've been wanting to write this story for a long time and maybe somebody'd enjoy it?

ow :(

I can understand your pain too well. I had the same on holiday in Spain... Fortunately it passed (after a couple of horrible nights).

:(

I don't know what to do. Having already spent so much time and money on seeing the dentist recently, I don't want to do that again. On top of that, I'm going away soon and taking sick leave for tooth problems means having even less time to hand work over before I go.

But it's also because I'm going away soon that it might make sense to actually get this wisdom tooth seen to...

Or I can sit and hope it'll go away in a few days...

Most likely I would expect it to pass on its own account, but most likely that's the stupid decision. I don't know... I hate dentists, and I don't like to be absent from work. Besides, arranging anything very fast before holiday may be difficult.

Sleep the night (if I recall correctly, you are from UK, so it's evening for you anyway), and think about it in the morning. Sleeping can be difficult, because one grits teeth together in sleep (sometimes I think people are totally irrational), but on the other hand it may pass, so it may make decision easier.

It was already strange for the last two days and hurt a little bit yesterday, but it went away for a while and came back for a while... now it's doing the same thing. But today I can actually be sure it's a wisdom tooth problem, yesterday I just knew something was wrong :(

I'll wait till tomorrow and see...

Theoretically it may be okay, and just irritated a bit because of something the dentist has done, but I don't really know almost anything about teeth.

Try to survive. *hugs*

Nothing's been done to it so far. A long time ago when I had a checkup the dentist did say I have very big teeth and that might be a cause for problems when the wisdom teeth come out... right now, it hurts for a while and then stops, and starts again, and it when it hurts it's not a great deal of pain... but I'm just worried...

Ohh I see. I had mine taken out before they came out/started bothering me but the pain that I went through was a lot. XD; *shakes fist at dry sockets*

if you go to the pharmacist in boots you can get two pain killers for teeth over the counter

one is orajel which is benzocaine it turns you into Sylvester stallone for a few hours because it super numbs the mouth, use this one if you can't bear it

the other is anbesol which just numbs it, they're bothe antiseptics. I get nothing but bother with my wisdom teeth and my dentist recommended them, because sometimes they're just cutting through and it's not worth going to the dentist over them

you put both of them directly on the sore spot and neither of them cost over £5

oooh new story.

I second the recommendation for Orajel. It works wonders. ^_^
