Once upon a time, there was a loser named Arai.

One day, buchou made him run 50 laps.

He died.

(Has anyone realised Arai and his minion will become Regulars after the 3rd years leave? It's even like that in the PS2 games XD;;; Poor Seigaku Jr.High. And I pity the new buchou!)

Once upon a time there was a boy. His name was Arai, but that wasn't important. One day this boy was told he had to play against the super duper champions of teh WORLD, Rikkaidai. He peed his pants and passed out. The rest of the team lol'ed and left him there.

Arai continued being a wimpy bum aftwards, curled in the fetal position saying over and over again, 'the zombies are going to eat me'

And then he died.

The end.

But for Tez, he wants to ask Echizen how he's feeling, and tell him he'll have to go to counselling, and eventually also that he wants Ryoma to be the fukubuchou next year, if Ryoma still wants to (Tezs afraid of putting responsibility on Ryoma's shoulders now). We can assume Tez had told Sanada about the fukubuchou thing beforehand if you want to use that at all.

Once upon a time, there was a non-regular named Arai. Not even laxative and prune juice could make him regular.

One day, through no fault of his own other than bad luck, he happened to enter the club shower room at the same time the Rikkai buchou was stepping out of the shower, quite naked and very beautiful. Arai, stunned and slightly aroused by this experience, did the only logical thing: he ran all the way home.

The following day, Arai was found in the clubroom, stabbed three hundred and eleven times.

He died.

Epilogue:

While Arai's killers were never caught, there were two clues at the scene: a writing in blood of "Rikkai RULZ!" and a pair of round sunglasses. However, as these were never deemed to be conclusive evidence, the case was dropped.

That, is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I particularly like the undercurrent of emotions that ran through the whole piece, and using a separate paragraph for "he died" made it all the more powerful. The mystery factor balances so well with the angst.
