Tweedle Dave and Tweedle Rush
I hardly ever walk into a Wallis because they don't seem to have the style of things I like, but holyDave! That embroidered coat! Those velvet trousers! The black leather jeans! *_________* Must go take a look. Too bad I can't go shopping this lunch time. Tomorrow?
Last night was spent tweeding TLR. I love pasting heads. XD Now I got a tweed kick as well. It's all your SO's coworkers' fault,
storme. XD

I'm still impressed by how good Rush looks in that pic. :)

You and me both. Makes me want to read about Rush and Dave in an English setting.
I wonder if there will be nice tweed in vintage shops or if one has to buy new...

*is now vaguely contemplating Dave-in-jodhpurs*
Yeah, I am going to get *so* much work done today. :P

Oh, I've had that mental image ever since I began researching for Dave cosplay and somehow ended up on equestrian websites. Rush was all, *STARE AT DAVE'S BACKSIDE!* Dave looks good in anything. You can even put him in a builder's outfit with yellow hi-vis and......... um, wait, that doesn't work. Forget I said that. >> Dave with builder's bum omg what

No work is going to be done at all today while I contemplate these suggestions, la la la la.

(btw, any particular branch of Wagamama you like? Bearing in mind that some of them tend to get swamped at weekends. XD)

(Nope, any are good for me--pick whichever one you like!)

I'm totally coming up with cheesy Rush & Dave in London story right now. This afternoon we're having a CEO presentation, I foresee myself not hearing a word the guy's gonna say.
(I shall look at the list and try to find a less busy one, then!)

I have a meeting with my CEO this afternoon. I really hope I don't start thinking about Dave-in-builder's-clothes while discussing budgets. :)
(Awesome, I shall rely on your good judgement.)

*snerk* Good luck! Do also try not to think about Dave the plumber, Dave the pizza delivery guy and Dave the barista. >D
(I shall do my best! /Caedmon)

I am so doomed. I am in a skype meeting RIGHT NOW and I am thinking about those things. :(
(Huzzah!)

me: I totally want a Rush Dave in England fic now
starting with Dave having a picnic with Torgal etc, complete with posh picnic blanket and basket and all
probably at Hyde Park
and then Rush and Irina playing badminton somewhere nearby
me: and then Irina hits the shuttlecock into Dave's picnic and Rush goes over to fetch it and Torgal's like, TARUNDORU**
and Rush looks at the picnic and thinks, UPPER CLASS TWAT
me: d(^0^)b
because anyone that young and posh and with servants = has lots of inheritance and does nothing all day.
and then the whole thing takes a "kuroshitsuji" spin where Dave is actually a sweeper of some sort
his parents didn't leave him with much money, actually, all the wealth he actually made himself.
but he doesn't mind letting people think he's some lazy twat
and for those who does care where his money comes from, he's an "entrepreneur"
although when Rush becomes his friend, he does ask, "yanno Dave, you never seem to go to work."
(apart from the times when Dave goes away on "business trips")
**"Tarundoru" being something Sanada from The Prince of Tennis says often when he scolds people or disagrees about stuff. Sanada and Torgal share many similarities, from the long-sufferingness to their Japanese seiyuus.
.....The sweeper thing, it's not just Kuroshitsuji. I actually also blame City Hunter/Angel Heart, which I'd been watching last night. XD

(Yes, very very distracted, damn you. I want to know how knocking the ball over leads to them becoming friends!)
no subject
(Oh, I don't know. Maybe Rush already worked for some posh twat somewhere but couldn't stand the guy, so he was seeking alternative employment and somehow ended up at the Nassau's? At the job interview Rush saw Torgal and is like, I REMEMBER YOU. YOU'RE THAT D< GUY. And Torgal might actually be quite apologetic because they were all in London for "work" (Dave's main home might be in Surrey?) and it was Dave's suggestion that they went out and relaxed somewhere and Torgal was worried and high-strung about being outdoors. Rush's background being very basic and clean, he got the well-paid job of doing more personal stuff for Dave such as polishing his shoes before he left the house...)
(Why, yes, I'm very good at making things up as I type. XDDDD)

Rush as valet? Hmmmm. I can see that. As long as Dave doesn't spring the whole corset deal on him.
no subject
Rush probably notice specks of blood on the stitchings on Dave's shoes. At first he doesn't think much of it, but it's always after those business trips that he spots them, and why doesn't he get to go with Dave anyway? Doesn't Dave need his valet while away from home? Rush, pouting, ponders on this.
no subject
You didn't need to do any actual work today, did you? You can write this. ;)

Probably Dave's previous valet was killed by Torgal after realising he was an informant. Torgal said he could do the job but Dave said Torgal's already sort of a butler and also helping Dave with his /work/, so they should employ a new valet instead. Besides, Torgal is always so grim and >(, Dave laughs at him and says he wants somebody who's more talkative.
I wonder how Rush finds out about the last valet. But he should find out. And get a bit scared. Mmmmm maybe he's starting to have suspicions about the whole household and then he overhears a conversation about Torgal saying he isn't entirely sure about Rush and Dave laughs and says no, you aren't killing this one too. He's fine; I trust him.
But I'm writing this in my head already!

Poor terrified Rush.
(yeah, so, distracted through three whole meetings. good work!)
no subject
And so Rush is all, okay running isn't an option. FOR IRINA'S SAKE I'LL JUST STAY QUIET.
But of course curiosity means he starts poking into things and asks if Dave REALLY doesn't want him to come along on the next trip... eventually Dave arches a pretty eyebrow and he starts wondering about things too, maybe Rush has noticed that he stares at him for a bit too long all the time... but Rush serves him as a valet, he doesn't need Rush to provide any extra service just because he's the master and Rush is worried about his job and his sister. Dave really doesn't like taking advantage. It doesn't seem like Rush is truly interested in him anyway, look at the way he fidgets when he asks the question. He's so uncomfortable. No, no. Dave wouldn't do this to him.
(Hey, at least that sounds like they're short meetings! And I do try my best. *bows*)

See, this is an *awesome* day: I get regular fic updates direct to my inbox. :P
(They are short meetings, but irritating. Sigh. Being distracted is all for the best to keep me sane, I think.)
no subject
And then, it's just the matter of getting Rush to like Dave as well. How should that be done, that is the question...
I'm afraid this will be the last fic update for a while as I'm being dragged away to the CEO presentation. T_T But at least there'll be free food.
(I'm glad to be of service.)
no subject
Maybe he should find out some of what Dave's business trips actually involve?
That's alright, I got dragged away to lunch. And then into another meeting where I had to actually focus. :)
no subject
(The presentation went on until 4pm. I'm now mentally dead, even though I spent half of the time thinking about tweed!Dave.)
no subject
(I had meetings all afternoon, but most of them were nice upbeat back-patting ones where I could drift off into pleasant daydreams without anyone getting too annoyed. A fine afternoon, I feel.)

For tomorrow, let's say noon at Spitalfields Wagamama? (well, just after noon, since trains arrive at Liverpool Street at 11:54.) That sounds okay?
no subject
That sounds good to me! It occurs to me that you probably have not much of an idea of what I look like, so look for the girl with purple hair. :)
