Calling upon the Gae Bolg

50% done. After taking this photo I've strengthened the handle and made it all nice and rounded. Currently making the blocky bits to go on the barrel. They're annoying because they all have weird angles as the barrel has slanted edges etc, and they are all supposed to line up and interlock when the GB is used. After that I'll make the back, then the rest of the fiddly stuff, then I'll make it look all dirty and rusty (God knows why a Remnant weapon would look rusty, but that's what it's like in the game.)
Should be alright... atm it's not heavy, but when I hold it it tilts forward because there's only weight in the front. I just need to make sure the back balances it out so that when I do eventually carry it around and pose with it I won't have to strain my wrist to keep it balanced.
As far as I know there are no other GB's made (I even checked the Japanese cosplay places), so this is potentially the World's First Gay Bolt. :D/
