Um, it's the 10th year anniversary of HK's return to China. Read a few articles and it seems like it was another peaceful march. I kinda like that. Even when dissatisfaction with the government was at a boiling point a few years ago, the anniversary march was still peaceful, but so very strong, and whatever CH Tung and China said, it was that march that dealt the final blow to his resignation and led to a few changes in the right direction.

This year's march started at Victoria Park, as usual, led by old people. Then they walked to Wan Chai to hand over to the young people, who made their usual route to the government headquarters and around Hong Kong. A lot of them stayed a little while outside the headquarters but followed instructions from the authorities and organisers closely.

「爭取普選、改善民生」- 普選, IMO, is a dream. But there's still power in the people.

My father went to the march :-) I didn't, obviously; the only time I went was that first time in 2003.

I don't think 普選 will become a reality in our generation, but it's an ideal we can look up to. And I admire people who have the hearts to chase a dream, even if I don't.

:-)
