To anyone thinking about changing ISP: as far as I've experienced, ID-Net is good. I've had no problems with my line so far and their customer service is very nice. Namesco, also, has great customer service. I tried ordering from them (because ID-net's website got stuck and I didn't know my order with them was okay), they called me and explained to me I already had another line and so they had to cancel my order and make a refund. When I had to call them to check that the free modem has been returned to them, the call was picked up after 2 rings! And the lady I talked to was also very nice. So, I think Namesco should be nice too (at least in terms of customer service). The main thing Namesco has over ID-Net is the free installation, but whatever, if you have a migration code it doesn't matter anyway.

Looking at the hitman!Yagyuu picture again, I think maybe it's the wrong type of gun he's using. It looks more like, I don't know, what they use in wars. Oh well. *shrug* XD My knowledge on firearms = 0 and what I read up for fic-writing purposes (which I didn't use) = totally forgotten!

I would oblige with the art but my drawing of actual people = stick-figures. Not even entertaining stick-figures. ;) But seeing your Yagyuu art made me so very happy. ♥ There should be happy D1 fic... I've been doing my best...! I'm actually feeling like it might be worth trying to write today given that I am infinitely less stressed than I have been for the last... er. Long time. I'll try. And if it sucks I will just stop rather than beating myself up over it. XD

I've been watching your experience with ID-Net before making the leap!

The real pain with tax and NI sets in when you realise the government gets more of your pay rises than you do.

The downside about ID-Net is that they do have download limits. But for my level of use, the "£24.99 for 30GB a month" package works well for me. And going over is £1/GB which isn't too much.

I usually go for the biggest package offered but am tempted to downgrade to 2mbps on the basis that it's all I'm really getting anyway. Damn Welsh telecomms infrastructure.

If you sign up with a ISP that does 1-month contracts, then you could change your package if you find it doesn't suit you, perhaps?

Not sure, realistically, how much choice there is up here. Wales' broadband provision is generally slower than the rest of the UK's and there are fewer suppliers in the market.
