Wait.

Australia & NZ are also on PAL. Does that mean I can play UK games on them...?

Their Wiis are selling for like £160 on eBay.au.

Yep you can play UK games on them. The only diference ever between the two is the dvd region. I could play all German games on my PAL system, but not the dvd's. Games yes, DVD's no (but as far as I know, the Wii isn't a dvd machine lol)

:)

I'm no expert, so I can't guarantee you can (I've seen conflicting things online about whether you can play UK games on them), but there is a possibility you might have an issue with the sound output, as we use PAL-I and they use PAL-B, and the sound might come out as static on your TV. It might not, though (depends on your TV), and if it does, it's fixable by hooking the sound input into a stereo system.

Have you tried a Nintendo forum? That would probably be the safest bet.

Australia is DVD Region 4, which means you could only view DVDs from Australia, Mexico, the Caribbean, New Zealand and South America.

Hope this helps.
