I remember it being on TV when I first came to UK, and loads of classmates watched it so I watched a bit too. XD Had never seen that kind of show before, since we had (and still have) nothing of that sort in Hong Kong. Needless to say, I was completely weirded out!

Do you guys get the original Takeshi's Castle? We get a rather Americanized version of it called MXC here. I hated it when I first watched it, but the more I listened, the more I realized just how much these guys were slipping past the censors. XD
Yes, our version is narrated by an English crack addict comedian called Craig Charles. I prefer our version to MXC, cos MXC seemed like it took the piss too much, and Takeshi's Castle really doesn't need anyone to take the piss out of it! XD Craig Charles' narration seems like it's basically just him watching the eps and making amused comments every so often. I love it for the pain. XD
