Weird question. Can anyone remember the typical times for people to run 1400m? Back in school, on Sports Day they used to have 100, 200, 800 and 1400m running race, right? Typical high schooler would take how long to do 1400m? >_>"

We used to run 1500, but I remember the maximum time you had to finish in in order to get points for your house was 10 minutes. So, say about 7 minutes?

Some cursory Googling gives me records of around 5 minutes, so maybe a little less thn 7 after all.

Closest thing we had to 1500 was the mile (for obvious reasons). Average was about 5 minutes for the guys and 7 or 8 for the girls (unless you were like me and took 15 minutes to do it, my best time (aka I actually ran most of it instead of ran a lap and walked the rest) was like 9 or something lol). I'm a sprinter, not long distance man >>

*edits Fusion post* I'm setting 15min for 2000m, I think that's alright since it's an endurance test, not a race? 35min for 4000m is going to be harder, but our boys should be able to do it XD
