This is mostly a GIP, really.

Work today was productive, but it rained and was windy and I came home with soaked coat and socks. Not nice.

My room's dimmer switch has broken. Kept hearing this strange ssssssssss noise that sounded like an electrical equipment went wrong. Occasionally thought I saw some flashing blue light out the corner of my eye, but when I turned around there was nothing. It was creepy, really. Eventually found it wasn't my comps or phone or anything else, but the light switch. Turned it off and now it won't come back on.

Nippon-export has shipped my order. They refunded me some money because my package was lighter than they thought. Good business practice, that.

Is there a way to switch off the default border around icons in an S2 layout? I like to add border to most icons, but S2 adds another border to it and it's fugly. I found out how. I rock! (although it turns off the "border=x" altogether so adding that to IMG SRC will still give no border now. But I can get around it using css (for my own entries), which is good enough I suppose.)

Go to http://www.livejournal.com/customize/advanced/layers.bml

Click edit on the layer you're using, add this to the big box

function Page::print_custom_head() {

"""

""";
}

click save and compile (at the top) and you're done 8D

*tries again*

function Page::print_custom_head() {

"""
<style>
img { border-width: 0px; }
</style>
""";
}

This is only for the component style. Obviously it disables border at all img tags. Tried getting around it by putting it as the .userpic class instead, but all the other people's userpics on the friends page appear just as img, not under the .userpic class, so that didn't work T_T
