Stupid trains. Late every day for the last 5 working days. I only got into work like 10 minutes ago. And I was in such a hurry I DIDN'T BUY MY BUTTERED HOT CROSS BUN *angsts*

Been (re)reading Peacemaker Kurogane on the train. Bought vol.3 but never got round to reading it, so read all 3 in one go... I should make some Souji and Susumu icons... ones that match my series of monotone chibi icons~ XD

[edit] "Sneaked out" to buy food. THEY RAN OUT OF BUNS *angsts*. But I got scone instead so it's not all that bad... *sigh*

Have you read Shinsengumi Imon Peacemaker? The style has changed a little in PMK, the drawing is sort of...more shounen. I actually find the fight scenes quite hard to follow now -_- but still love it :)

You know the PMK anime? Even though it's called PMK, it's actually based on/covers the events in the manga "Shinsengumi Imon Peacemaker", which has (I think) 5 volumes. The manga "Peacemaker Kurogane" is actually the sequel to SIP, so it's everything from the end of the anime onwards, so to speak. It's confusing because the animators used the other title ^^"

I think I've found some of Shinsengumi Imon Peacemaker at mangacity.net. I'm going to try to download it when I get home from work this afternoon. Or, I may end up seeing if anyone in LJ has it in Streamload. Thanks for the heads up! *hugs*

well actually, some small bits (un-major events) of the PMK manga is also in the anime, such as the episode on Hijikata's haiku book... XD

I want a scone, too. Maybe I should bake some? ... Or maybe I should just take a shot at the lemon meringee pie (which I mistyped pi, which amuses me greatly) after all, and hope I understand the French recipe enough to not make mistakes! XD

Naw, I have a good recipe, but thanks! Unfortunatly, I love cream tea, and clotted cream is way too expensive here, so I always feel let down when I bake them and then they don't taste as nice as in England.

Thankies. :P Also, yes, I can. XD I've also have heard a certain someone bake it before, as I was shushed out of my kitchen at the time, so the hearing experience maybe counts for something when not exactly understanding the recipe.

Cream? Is clotted cream the same thing as whipping cream? Because I just buy some whipping cream and whip the living hell out of it when I need it for dessert and stuff. XD

Nope, clotted cream is different. Has a different texture, it feels like a thing between whipped cream and butter. Murr - you've not had clotted cream before? o_O
