I don't know if anybody on my flist plays the violin (I think Rue does?), got a question... but I suppose whether one plays the violin or not doesn't really matter for this. And am actually asking for a friend.

Are there any books out there about Stradivarius violins? Preferably with loads of pictures?

--I haven't played the violin in years, though I have a good memory of it. I don't know any off the top of my head, I'm afraid, but... well, you know, there's always amazon? A search of amazon.co.uk gets a few results for me? But no way of knowing if there's pictures inside.

Yes we did a search as well... he specifically wants books with loads of pictures so it didn't help much
