Has anyone seen Cold Mountain? Is it any good?

I've been wanting to see it for quite a while (since there's Jude Law in it XD) but can't find anyone who'd like this sort of film to go with me. *sigh*

My brother is seeing it tonight. I'll ask him if it's good later. *winks*

I'd come with you, but unfortunately, I'm too far away. Hee

I wouldn't mind. Just give me a ring.

I will have too much free time as I can't do any sports for at least a month ~_~ *sob sob*

I will have too much free time...

#$&%@x^xyz!!!!! I know you're doing good with your coursework and report, but no need to go that far =P

+_+ oh come on, you can't work non-stop for the whole week, and me neither~~ perhaps I should have precisely said "6-10 hours of free time every week" ...... Anyway, wanna watch on Friday?

[identity profile] yuki-scorpio.livejournal.com 2004-01-11 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
you can't work non-stop for the whole week

Oh sure I can, because I have to if there are deadlines *L*

When to watch... well I'll speak with ya during the week.

[identity profile] yoshi-6-6.livejournal.com 2004-01-11 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
haha, what do you mean by working non-stop? My definition is 'work without doing anything other than sleeping, eating and going to bathroom...'. Not even watching TVs...

[identity profile] yuki-scorpio.livejournal.com 2004-01-11 08:43 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's more or less my "working non-stop" too, except sometimes I even forget to eat (or sleep, for that matter) X_x"

[identity profile] yoshi-6-6.livejournal.com 2004-01-11 09:01 am (UTC)(link)
er...I am lucky that I always have time to eat and sleep then :P
But I don't think it's anything to do with how smart you are. It's just that I prioritise my work and manage my time better.

[identity profile] yuki-scorpio.livejournal.com 2004-01-11 09:10 am (UTC)(link)
Neh, but I think it has, a little bit, coz somebody spending hours figuring how to do something and somebody spending only half an hour to understand the question and start doing it... well, see the difference?

Anyway, I guess I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so even if I've "finished" something, I still spend a lot of time "refinishing" it... and I can get too absorbed into the work, so it's not like deliberately not eating or sleeping ^^" (yeah, I'm kinda sad)

[identity profile] yoshi-6-6.livejournal.com 2004-01-11 09:55 am (UTC)(link)
That's perhaps true. But time management does help.

I used to be a perfectionist at work as well. But somehow, I changed coz it's simply impossible to make everything perfect. I would rather get the most, in average, out of everything. Remember the joke about Cost-Benefit Analysis on our Economics Coursework last year?
