DNAngel episode 2

Excuse me, but has the anime got anything to do with the manga at all?!!?

Or is it just because I've only read up to vol. 4 of the manga?

Well, I've only read volume 1, but it doesn't look like it has much to do with the manga storyline either, other than the weird love runarounds o_O

Now my interest is peaked. Haven't seen the anime, but I've seen all the manga that's out so far (unless I'm mistaken). Don't have them with me, but just what's gone on so far in the anime? Tell me the next time we see each other online or something.
