Saturday yay

Being woken up in the middle of the night is not nice, being woken up in the middle of the night by a crying baby is worse. Still, he's my nephew so I'll have to forgive him.

Fled place-with-baby and brought storme to Colchester. Lots of fabric shopping, being amazed/traumatised by various fabrics etc, but overall it was a very successful trip. She was happy about having more food choices than she's used to when we had lunch. We also sat at home, had lots of tea and poked around on the computer looking at photos and TLR screencaps and did stuff. Finally, we discovered that we are, erm, feet pals! XD/ All in all, a very good Saturday.

But we still can't be sure what colour Dave's earrings are. XD

Liz has gone away for the weekend for family things. Tonight I'm sewing buttons to Dave's tailcoat and then I'll have a think about how to start on Faize's outfit. Was going to do the shoes but will leave them until I've decided if I'll wear them for ballroom!Dave or not. Now, where to find screencaps of Faize's back...

Tomorrow Syl might visit. She says it depends on whether or not she'll still be alive after a drinks party tonight. Somehow I think the chances are pretty low. *snerk*

The SO poked through my purchases and was able to guess exactly what everything was for--I think that's a good thing, but he seems to have scared himself.

I am still thinking wistfully about the spacer fabric. I bet it would be an awesome stress toy.

I think he knows I don't need much leading to be deep in the crazy, to be honest.

I was wondering whether it would feel *really* good wrapped in the soft-soft velvety fabrics. I suspect it might.

hmmm maybe i'm just blind but in one of the high-res TLR vids you sent me, Dave's earring studs looked like a charcoal to me.

Then again, they could change color like his eyes XD
